These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PanchVeda Android application (the "App"). PanchVeda is provided by Roshan Kumar, an independent developer operating under the name hummOut ("hummOut," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, purchasing through, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the PanchVeda Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use PanchVeda. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. The PanchVeda Service

PanchVeda provides traditional Vedic astrology and calendar-related features, which may include Panchang information, Kundli and chart calculations, matchmaking, Ashta Koota scoring, dosha analysis, muhurta, vrat information, saved profiles, local notifications, and PDF exports.

Available features, designs, data sources, calculation methods, free-use limits, advertising, and paid benefits may evolve over time. We will not remove already-purchased access during its valid entitlement period except where required for security, law, store policy, misuse, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

3. Astrology and Informational Disclaimer

PanchVeda presents traditional, cultural, educational, and informational astrological calculations and interpretations. Astrology is belief-based and is not scientifically established as a method for predicting events or guaranteeing outcomes.

The App and its outputs are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment, matrimonial, relationship, employment, safety, or other professional advice. Do not use PanchVeda as the sole basis for decisions about health, treatment, marriage, relationships, money, legal rights, employment, travel, safety, or other significant matters.

We do not guarantee:

• the accuracy of user-entered birth details, locations, timezones, external reference data, interpretations, or device clocks;
• that calculations will match every astrologer, tradition, ayanamsha, calendar, ephemeris, or software product;
• compatibility, relationship success, auspiciousness, predictions, remedies, or any personal outcome; or
• uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service.

4. User Information and Local Data

You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates, times, locations, gender, and other information you enter. If you enter another person's information, you represent that you have a lawful and appropriate basis to do so and will respect that person's privacy.

PanchVeda stores profiles and related App data locally as described in the Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the App, clearing its storage, losing the device, or deleting local records may permanently remove local data. Purchase restoration does not restore locally saved profiles, matches, or PDFs.

5. Licence and Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, hummOut grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on devices you control for lawful, non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

• copy, sell, sublicense, rent, distribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content except as expressly allowed by law;
• reverse engineer, decompile, bypass, tamper with, or attempt unauthorized access to the App, purchase validation, ads, entitlements, or usage limits, except where a restriction is prohibited by law;
• use automation, fraudulent transactions, invalid ad activity, or deceptive methods to obtain benefits;
• interfere with the App, Google Play, AdMob, RevenueCat, or other users;
• use the App for unlawful, harmful, defamatory, abusive, or privacy-invasive activity; or
• remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices.

6. Free Access and Advertising

The free version currently provides:

• three calculations per local calendar day, shared across Kundli and Matchmaking;
• one PDF export per local calendar day;
• banner advertising; and
• an optional rewarded advertisement to unlock one additional blocked action when an eligible ad is available and its reward is completed.

Ad availability is not guaranteed. We may reasonably modify free limits or advertising arrangements in future versions.

7. Paid Plans

All paid plans grant unlimited supported calculations, unlimited supported PDF exports, and removal of banner and rewarded ads while active. PanchVeda may offer:

• 7-Day Pass: a prepaid seven-day subscription that does not automatically renew.
• Monthly Pro: automatically renews each month until cancelled.
• Six-Month Pro: automatically renews every six months until cancelled.
• Annual Pro: automatically renews each year until cancelled.

The price, currency, taxes where applicable, billing period, and renewal terms displayed by PanchVeda and Google Play immediately before purchase are the terms applicable to that transaction. A subscription is not required to access the available free experience.

8. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

Payments are charged to the Google account confirmed during purchase and are processed by Google Play. We do not directly receive your complete payment-card or bank-account details.

Auto-renewing plans renew for the applicable billing period unless cancelled through Google Play before renewal takes effect. You can manage or cancel an eligible subscription in Google Play's subscription settings. Deleting PanchVeda does not cancel a subscription.

Failure of payment, chargeback, refund, revocation, fraud determination, or store action may suspend or end the related entitlement.

9. Restoring Purchases

PanchVeda provides a user-initiated Restore Purchases function. Restoration requires the appropriate Google account, an internet connection, Google Play, and RevenueCat availability. It restores eligible purchase entitlements — not local profiles or reports.

10. Refunds

Purchases are made through Google Play. Refund eligibility and processing are subject to Google Play's policies, the transaction circumstances, and applicable consumer law. Requests should ordinarily be submitted through Google Play using the applicable order and account.

Nothing in these Terms limits refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Google Play refund information: support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637

11. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party software and services, including Google Play, Google AdMob, Google's User Messaging Platform, RevenueCat, and Swiss Ephemeris. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and policies. We do not control a third party's independent payment systems, ad content, availability, policies, or decisions.

12. Intellectual Property

The App's original software, interface, branding, design, compilation, and original content are owned by or licensed to hummOut and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. "PanchVeda" and "hummOut" are used as product and publisher identifiers. No rights are granted except the limited licence expressly stated in these Terms.

13. Availability, Updates, and Changes

We may release updates, correct errors, modify functionality, discontinue unsupported features, or temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, legal, technical, or store-policy reasons. We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available forever or work on every device.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of material breach, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, store action, or discontinuation of the App. Termination does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PanchVeda is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or specific results. This section does not exclude warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roshan Kumar and hummOut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss; loss of profits, opportunity, goodwill, or data; decisions made from astrological outputs; or third-party conduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that law does not permit to be excluded or limited.

17. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Because PanchVeda is operated from Delhi, courts at New Delhi will have jurisdiction where legally competent. This clause does not prevent a consumer from approaching a forum available under mandatory local law.

Before beginning formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact us and make a good-faith attempt to resolve the issue informally.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, paid plans, third-party services, law, or policy. The updated date will appear at the top. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

19. Severability and Entire Agreement

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified only to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and hummOut concerning the App.
