These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PanchVeda Android application (the “App”). PanchVeda is provided by Roshan Kumar, an independent developer operating under the name hummOut (“hummOut,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, purchasing through, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the PanchVeda Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App should display links to these Terms and the Privacy Policy before a paid purchase. By deliberately tapping the final purchase control after those links and the applicable price and renewal terms are displayed, you request the purchase and confirm your agreement to the applicable purchase terms. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use PanchVeda. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. The PanchVeda Service

PanchVeda provides traditional Vedic astrology and calendar-related features, which may include Panchang information, Kundli and chart calculations, matchmaking, Ashta Koota scoring, dosha analysis, muhurta, vrat information, saved profiles, local notifications, and PDF exports.

Available features, designs, data sources, calculation methods, free-use limits, advertising, and paid benefits may evolve over time. We will not remove already-purchased access during its valid entitlement period except where required for security, law, store policy, misuse, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

3. Astrology and Informational Disclaimer

PanchVeda presents traditional, cultural, educational, and informational astrological calculations and interpretations. Astrology is belief-based and is not scientifically established as a method for predicting events or guaranteeing outcomes.

The App and its outputs are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment, matrimonial, relationship, employment, safety, or other professional advice. Do not use PanchVeda as the sole basis for decisions about health, treatment, marriage, relationships, money, legal rights, employment, travel, safety, or other significant matters. Seek an appropriately qualified professional where needed.

We do not guarantee:

• the accuracy of user-entered birth details, locations, timezones, external reference data, interpretations, or device clocks;
• that calculations will match every astrologer, tradition, ayanamsha, calendar, ephemeris, or software product;
• compatibility, relationship success, auspiciousness, predictions, remedies, or any personal outcome; or
• uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service.

You remain responsible for reviewing inputs and deciding how, or whether, to use any result.

4. User Information and Local Data

You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates, times, locations, gender, and other information you enter. If you enter another person's information, you represent that you have a lawful and appropriate basis to do so and will respect that person's privacy.

PanchVeda stores profiles and related App data locally as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining device security and any backup you require. Uninstalling the App, clearing its storage, losing the device, or deleting local records may permanently remove local data. Purchase restoration does not restore locally saved profiles, matches, or PDFs.

5. Licence and Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, hummOut grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on devices you control for lawful, non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

• copy, sell, sublicense, rent, distribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content except as expressly allowed by law;
• reverse engineer, decompile, bypass, tamper with, or attempt unauthorized access to the App, purchase validation, ads, entitlements, or usage limits, except where a restriction is prohibited by law;
• use automation, fraudulent transactions, invalid ad activity, or deceptive methods to obtain benefits;
• interfere with the App, Google Play, AdMob, RevenueCat, or other users;
• use the App for unlawful, harmful, defamatory, abusive, or privacy-invasive activity; or
• remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices.

6. Free Access and Advertising

The free version currently provides:

• three calculations per local calendar day, shared across Kundli and Matchmaking;
• one PDF export per local calendar day;
• banner advertising; and
• an optional rewarded advertisement to unlock one additional blocked action when an eligible ad is available and its reward is completed; and
• the daily headline of Your Jodi (a reading of the day for two saved profiles).

Your Jodi free trial. The first time you set up Your Jodi, its full version (each partner's day, the clearest time for both, the days ahead and its PDF section) is free for 14 days. The trial needs no payment and no Google Play subscription, does not renew, and ends on its own; the App shows the days left and may send one reminder notification before it ends. It is offered once per installation and is recorded on your device. After it ends, the daily headline stays free and the full version is part of the paid plans.

Ad availability is not guaranteed. Closing an ad before earning the reward, declining consent where ads cannot lawfully be requested, network failure, ad inventory shortages, or an advertising error may prevent an additional action from being granted.

We may reasonably modify free limits or advertising arrangements in future versions. Changes do not reduce an active paid entitlement's promised unlimited and ad-free access during its valid period.

7. Paid Plans

All paid plans grant the same paid benefit while active: unlimited supported calculations, unlimited supported PDF exports, the full version of Your Jodi, and removal of banner and rewarded ads. Plans differ only by duration, price, and renewal type.

PanchVeda may offer:

• 7-Day Pass: a prepaid seven-day subscription. It does not automatically renew. Access ends at expiration unless you manually purchase or top up further eligible access through Google Play.
• Monthly Pro: automatically renews each month until cancelled.
• Six-Month Pro: automatically renews every six months until cancelled.
• Annual Pro: automatically renews each year until cancelled.

The price, currency, taxes where applicable, billing period, and renewal terms displayed by PanchVeda and Google Play immediately before purchase are the terms applicable to that transaction. Store prices may vary by country and may change in accordance with Google Play rules and applicable law.

A subscription is not required to access the available free experience.

8. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

Payments are charged to the Google account confirmed during purchase and are processed by Google Play. We do not directly receive your complete payment-card or bank-account details.

Auto-renewing plans renew for the applicable billing period unless cancelled through Google Play before renewal takes effect. You can manage or cancel an eligible subscription in Google Play's subscription settings. Deleting PanchVeda does not cancel a subscription.

When you cancel an auto-renewing subscription, cancellation normally stops the next renewal; paid access generally continues until the end of the already-paid billing period, subject to Google Play rules. The 7-Day Pass expires without automatic renewal.

Google Play may notify you of price changes and request consent where required. Failure of payment, chargeback, refund, revocation, fraud determination, or store action may suspend or end the related entitlement.

9. Restoring Purchases

PanchVeda provides a user-initiated Restore Purchases function. Restoration requires the appropriate Google account, an internet connection, Google Play, and RevenueCat availability. It restores eligible purchase entitlements, not local profiles or reports.

Because the App does not require login, RevenueCat uses an anonymous App User ID. Eligible purchases may be transferred to the current anonymous App User ID during restoration under the configured RevenueCat restore behaviour.

10. Refunds

Purchases are made through Google Play. Refund eligibility and processing are subject to Google Play's policies, the transaction circumstances, and applicable consumer law. Requests should ordinarily be submitted through Google Play using the applicable order and account.

If Google Play does not resolve a billing or entitlement complaint, you may contact hummOut at the address in Section 20. Google Play is the payment and refund channel for Play transactions, but it is not intended to remove any direct remedy you may have against hummOut under mandatory consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms limits refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A refund, chargeback, or purchase revocation may remove the associated paid entitlement.

11. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party software and services, including Google Play, Google AdMob, Google's User Messaging Platform, Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics, if you allow usage statistics; see the Privacy Policy), RevenueCat, and Swiss Ephemeris. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and policies.

We do not control a third party's independent payment systems, ad content, availability, policies, or decisions. However, this does not exclude hummOut's responsibility for its own selection, configuration, or integration of a third-party service where liability applies under law. References or links to third parties do not constitute an endorsement of every third-party claim, product, or service.

12. Intellectual Property

The App's original software, interface, branding, design, compilation, and original content are owned by or licensed to hummOut and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party libraries, traditional source material, names, and trademarks remain subject to their respective owners' rights and licences.

“PanchVeda” and “hummOut” are used as product and publisher identifiers. No rights are granted except the limited licence expressly stated in these Terms.

13. Availability, Updates, and Changes

We may release updates, correct errors, modify functionality, discontinue unsupported features, or temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, legal, technical, or store-policy reasons. Some functionality requires a compatible device, supported Android version, internet access, permissions, or available third-party services.

We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available forever or work on every device. Where reasonably practicable, material changes affecting paid access will be handled consistently with applicable law and Google Play policy.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may restrict or terminate access to the App where reasonably necessary because of material breach, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, store action, or discontinuation of the App.

Termination does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription; you must manage cancellation through Google Play. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including disclaimers, intellectual-property provisions, liability limitations, and governing law—will survive.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PanchVeda is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or specific results. This section does not exclude warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roshan Kumar and hummOut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss; loss of profits, opportunity, goodwill, or data; decisions made from astrological outputs; third-party conduct; or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, a legally established deficiency in service, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, breach of a non-excludable data-protection duty, or any other liability or consumer remedy that law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

17. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Because PanchVeda is operated from Delhi, courts at New Delhi will have jurisdiction where they are legally competent. This clause does not prevent a consumer from approaching a consumer commission, court, or other forum available under mandatory law, including a forum available where the consumer resides or works when the law so permits.

If the law where you live grants mandatory consumer rights or access to a local forum, these Terms do not take those rights away.

Before beginning formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact us and make a good-faith attempt to resolve the issue informally.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, paid plans, third-party services, law, or policy. The updated date will appear at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the App, store listing, or website where reasonably appropriate. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

19. Severability and Entire Agreement

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified only to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and hummOut concerning the App, except for additional mandatory Google Play terms or rights provided by law.

Use the subject “PanchVeda Grievance” and include the Google Play order reference where relevant, but do not send complete payment-card details or unnecessary birth information. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within one month, subject to any different period required by applicable law.
